The office of the Special Commissioner of Investigation for the New York City School District (“SCI”) is a New York City governmental agency that investigates allegations of corruption, criminality, conflicts of interest, or unethical conduct within the New York City School District and the Department of Education (“DOE”) by employees of the DOE or others doing business with or receiving funds from the DOE, or with the retirement systems connected with DOE employment.

This application allows you to attach a resume and has several sections including job preferences and work experience. The step by step process will guide you through the application. Please fill in the information carefully and completely before submitting.

To submit an application for a posted position, please read and agree to the terms and conditions below.
a) The user agrees that all personal information and applications created by them may be used by SCI and the City of New York (“NYC”) solely for recruitment purposes and neither SCI nor NYC will make this information available to third parties unconnected with SCI or NYC’s recruitment processes. However, SCI and NYC, if required, will make such information available to qualified third parties when required to do so by law or a judicial authority.
b) Race and ethnic group information submitted by the user is secure and usable only for regulatory reporting.
c) The user agrees that they are of required age and have appropriate legal standing to enter into this agreement.
d) In the event that you do not accept our Terms and Agreements, you will not be able to submit an application for employment with SCI.
e) You agree to the storage of all personal information, applications, and attachments by SCI. Your personal and application data, and any attached text or documentation, will be retained by SCI and NYC for a time period in accordance with the law.
